Since 2010, the Transformations Music Series has been presenting innovative guitar-related concerts at London’s Bolivar Hall: a venue with the finest sound in the heart of the capital. This year's series of highly varied concerts and recitals opens on Friday 28 June 2013 with the innovative British guitarist and composer Gary Ryan and guest artist Thomas Hobbs, tenor.

Other recitals to follow include Dario Rossetti-Bonell (guitar) and Magnus Mehta (percussion) in October. The programme will venture into a diverse set of old and new music, inspired by their own heritage and contrasting contemporary influences such as Guinga, Ellroy and Piñero.

Gary Ryan is back, with guest artist Thomas Hobbs, tenor, in a new programme New Horizons. The concert will feature a performance of his acclaimed composition 'Benga Beat' alongside works by J.S.Bach, Britten, Henze and Walton. His last recital for the series was oversubscribed so book early to avoid disappointment!
