Carlos in Japan

Carlos gave recitals and masterclasses in Tokyo and Osaka during his recent tour of Japan.

The bullet train is a spectacular ride at 250 mph passing close by the volcano Mount Fujiyama, connecting Tokyo and Osaka.

In Osaka he gave a class at a guitar academy which has more than 500 students, and visited the Royal Palace of Kyoto.

In Tokyo his classes included College students and dedicated players. The recitals included his arrangements of Renaissance airs and dances, solo pieces from the Queen Guitar Rhapsodies CD, his own composition Canciones, and Spanish music by Rodrigo, Albéniz and Granados.
